Festive Gala

Behind the scenes of a pattern launch….

I released my second quilt pattern, Festive Gala Quilt this week, and it’s been a whirlwind event! Behind the scenes, a pattern release involves so many steps. One week before release, we did a photoshoot downtown Durham at a great spot called “Yours,” which had a really cool, urban feel to it. After some editing in Lightroom, I started to use those photos to promote the launch on Instagram. And it didn’t stop! (in fact, I’m still going now, writing this blog post!)

  • Setting up my quilt on QuiltInk (Color your own! So cool!)
