Garden Flags
12” Quilt Block from the April Quilt Block Mania
Free for the month of April!
The theme this month is “Neighborhood.” I thought hard about what I wanted to represent for this block. I knew there would already be some amazing house blocks in the group! After looking around, I noticed how many beautiful spring flags I saw around the ‘hood. In gardens and on houses, my neighborhood shows its personality with flags. So, here you go!
This is a fairly straight-forward block. The only extra skill needed (which I teach) is how to do the flip-n-stitch corners. Easy peasy! It’s also a great block for fussy cutting, as you can see in my sample block :)
This block is free for the month of April, and will be available in my shop in May! I’d love to see what you do with it. Share and tag me on Instagram at @apieceofquietquilts | #GardenFlagsBlock | #APieceofQuietQuilts
