Feathered Spirals

This is the sweet Nyla Star quilt, pattern by my dear friend Michelle @compassandwildflower. She dedicated this pattern to her mother, and all of the tester versions of it came out just stunning.

I selected a few of my favorite Art Gallery Pure solids in shades of pink and rose, and paired them with a few prints I had in my stash from AGF Homebody by Maureen Cracknell.

This quilt just oozes femininity and romance, and I thought a fitting quilting design was the Feathered Spirals pantograph from Longarm League.

If you were wondering what ‘dense’ quilting meant - this is a perfect example. The space between the quilting is small, and it gives a yummy texture to the quilt.

When booking your quilt, one of the things we’ll discuss is if you prefer dense quilting or not. Both can be so beautiful, and I can help you decide what might be right for your quilt top. When you’re ready, head to my work request form to get started! I'd love to work with you for your next project
