Front Street Quilt in Animal Animal Fabric – A Playful New Take!

Front Street Quilt in Urban Wall room

My Front Street Quilt has been one of my favorites to make, and I love how different fabric choices can completely change the vibe. The cover version features a soft, romantic floral, but I’ve noticed a pattern (no pun intended!)—I keep gravitating toward fun, playful fabrics when remaking this design!

So when I spotted a Jelly Roll of Animal Animal by Ruby Star Society at QuiltCon, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. The vibrant colors and quirky animal prints were the perfect match for Front Street’s bold, graphic layout.

Now that the show is over, it’s hanging in my studio, adding a little extra whimsy to my space while I work. Seeing it every day reminds me why I love this pattern—it’s so adaptable and always brings something fresh to the table.

If you’re new to Front Street, this pattern is Jelly Roll-friendly, making it a great choice for showing off bold prints or mixing a variety of colors and textures. Whether you lean toward modern minimalism, vintage florals, or playful novelty prints, this pattern adapts beautifully.
